Fishing from a boat that has been set up and equipped primarily for fishing the Detroit River while also very effective for the Western basin of Lake Erie will enable you to learn various techniques and "Hot Spots" that can easily be employed on your own boat!

All tackle and bait will be supplied!  All you need to bring is a Michigan fishing license.  We strongly recommend getting a Canadian License also, as much of the prime Detroit River fishery is in Canadian waters.  While not required, it will give you a LOT more options.

Dress appropriately for the weather (spring can be pretty nippy on the river)!!  Depending on the season warm clothes may be in order.  Better yet, sun tan lotion might be a good idea!  Rain gear is ALWAYS a good idea!  A small cooler with your lunch and drinks (No alcohol allowed in Canada!) is always a good idea, although, on full day trips, we can always come in for a nice hot lunch if desired.

You should also bring a cooler to take your fish home.

Planning a group trip?  A day on the water catching "marble eyes" would make a unique company, church or family outing!!  We work with a group of very experienced charter captains and can accommodate any size group that you have.  A little "Braggin' Rights" competition between boats makes for a fun day!!
